User Guidelines

NodeOps helps you operate infrastructure you already control. These guidelines describe expected, safe use of the app.
Intended use
- Manage Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes workloads on servers and clusters you own or are authorized to administer
- Import cloud clusters (GKE, EKS, AKS) using credentials issued to you by your organization
- Inspect logs, pods, containers, and related resources for legitimate operations and debugging
Do not
- Use the app to access systems without permission or beyond the scope of your role
- Share credentials, SSH keys, or OAuth tokens with unauthorized parties
- Attempt to bypass security controls, host-key verification, or cloud IAM policies
- Use the app for illegal activity, harassment, or disruption of services
Security hygiene
- Prefer SSH keys and short-lived cloud credentials
- Review host-key prompts carefully on first connect
- Use least-privilege IAM roles for Direct API imports
- Lock your device and keep the OS updated
- Remove unused server profiles and clear credentials when leaving a team or project
